Company Name - The Green Creek Collection Position In The Company - Real Estate Developers
Bio - Landon, Heather, and Reece Schlabach are the sibling trio behind The Green Creek Collection, a real estate development venture focused on creative, high-impact short-term rentals. Their journey began in June 2020 during a conversation on their parents’ back porch, where the idea of building unique and memorable stays first took root.
At the time, Landon and Heather were already operating their short-term rental management company, BNBbreeze. Landon had long been pitching innovative, one-of-a-kind rental concepts to investors, though the ideas struggled to gain traction. Frustrated but inspired, the three siblings decided to build the concept themselves.
Armed with a sketchpad and a shared vision, they began planning what would become The Green Creek Shipyard, their first project, a fully renovated 40-foot shipping container. The process was intensive and collaborative, with each sibling bringing unique strengths to the table: Reece contributed his outdoor expertise, Heather led design, and Landon brought the entrepreneurial drive. The result was a cohesive and compelling build that quickly gained popularity among guests.
Encouraged by the success of Container 1, the team moved forward with Container 2.0, streamlining the process based on lessons learned. Around the same time, they seized the opportunity to develop a larger-scale luxury rental, resulting in Ridgeline, a modern mountain property located in Lake Lure, North Carolina. The property features a heated pool, hot tub, 6-hole putting course, outdoor kitchen, fire pit, and panoramic mountain views—quickly earning its place as a guest favorite.
Since then, the Schlabachs have continued developing short-term rental projects while gradually expanding into new real estate ventures. While their focus remains on STR development as a team, each sibling has also started exploring individual opportunities. They regularly meet to collaborate, brainstorm new ideas, and assign themselves "homework" to keep momentum going.
Their projects may vary, but their approach remains consistent: combine thoughtful design, strategic planning, and strong family collaboration. Remarkably, through years of building and growing together, they still enjoy the process—and each other.
